This 4-week Mindfulness & Self-Compassion training is an evidence-based, user-friendly program that brings the principles of mindfulness meditation into everyday life by teaching specific skills and practices to help break cycles of anxiety, stress, unhappiness and exhaustion.
Whether you are new to meditation or you are an experienced practitioner this course can help you develop more mental, emotional, physical and psychological resilience and wellbeing.

The Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Program is a four week experiential course designed around evidence-based interventions. You will learn to cultivate lifelong tools that will help you live more fully with resilience and to better manage the challenges and demands of everyday life.
What will I receive?
● guided instruction in mindfulness meditation and body awareness training
● an individual phone interview, and ongoing support from your teacher
● 4 x 1.5 hour classes
● an exploration of your own patterns and how to transform them
● dialogue and discussion in a group setting.
What will I learn?
You will learn new skills and practices to help break cycles of anxiety, stress, unhappiness and exhaustion.
Why do a course when I can use an app?
Whether you are brand new to meditation, or a seasoned practitioner, meditation practice can be filled with new, unfamiliar thoughts or experiences. Your growth and development is dependant on you getting curious, asking questions and delving deeper. It’s important to be mentored by someone who has their own daily practice and is experienced at teaching others how to meditate.
What if I’m not sure I will be able to meditate?
This program takes a very gradual, supportive approach toward acquiring skills, and focuses on a variety of practices that will help to settle an unruly mind. When you begin, you may feel like you’re having too many thoughts while you’re sitting in meditation, which can cause you to think that you’re not doing it right. Or, you may notice a tendency to fidget or become anxious while meditating and assume that you’re not cut out for the practice. These things are normal and you just need the right attentive guidance to help you develop the tools and skills needed to deepen your practice.

ABOUT the TEACHER
Michelle Seelig is a Mind-Body Practitioner who holds a Masters Degree in Creative Arts In Therapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Bachelor of Education (Dance and Media Studies). She is a Senior Mindfulness Meditation Teacher registered with the Meditation Association of Australia, a Level 2 Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Australia, and a registered Coach.
Michelle’s work combines the wisdom of mind-body medicine with evidence-based mindfulness techniques, positive psychology tools and therapeutic creative arts strategies to achieve mental and emotional healing. Michelle contends that we have the power to transform the habitual patterns that keep us stuck in perpetual cycles of stress, anxiety, depression, or addiction, and step into greater freedom and peace. She offers practical strategies to calm the anxious mind, transform negative emotions, and facilitate greater self acceptance, freedom and inner peace.
