The Sunday Sanctuary Retreat (Half Day)

This half day, online retreat will support you in cultivating a deeply interconnected experience of mind, body and heart. You will receive evidenced-informed practices  that will help you address mind-body wellness in an integrated, holistic way.  

The morning focuses on mind and body wellness through yoga, mindfulness and nutrition. This retreat is suitable for all levels of yoga and meditation experience, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners . 

What you will learn

  • How to use breath and meditation to feel more centred, clear and present
  • Empowering Yoga and Self-Care practices to relieve stress and overwhelm, and help you cultivate balance, resilience and strength
  • Simple Techniques to develop mastery over your emotions, support and stabilise the nervous system, cultivate inner calm and balance 
  • Transformational tools to help you navigate transitions, overcome resistance and embrace change with more grace and ease
  • How to support your nervous system and manage stress through food and diet.

When: 9am – 1.30pm on Sunday 19th September

Where: Online via Zoom – the link will be sent 24 hours before the retreat begins. You are encouraged to create a ‘rest nest’ for yourself somewhere quiet and comfortable in your home.

How to Prepare for Your Retreat

This retreat is an invitation to create a space where you can take care of your mind and body and take time off from your daily routine. For an online retreat at home it can be helpful to prepare a supportive environment.

  • Find a quiet place where you can be alone, in silence, with minimal disruptions. You may find that having fresh flowers nearby, or lighting a candle or incense at the start of the sessions can support a more contemplative orientation.
  • Set up your yoga mat, and meditation cushion/stool/chair close to your computer, so that you can access them all whilst on your device.
  • Let other people at home know about the retreat, and ask for their support during this time.
  • Limit the use of electronic devices to the device you will be using for the retreat. Where possible it is recommended that you close all apps except for Zoom and turn off notifications.
  • Please keep your video camera on when participating

 

What you will need

  • Loose fitting, comfortable clothes
  • Cushion, chair or meditation stool for sitting meditation.
  • Yoga mat (or towel)
  • Any yoga props you have or an extra cushion
  • Blanket or shawl in case you get cold.
  • Journal

This half day retreat incorporates yoga, mindfulness, breath work and nutrition to support you with skills, practices and knowledge that help heal the body, mind, and spirit.

The Sunday Sanctuary Retreat (Full Day)

This full day, online event offers the chance for a complete reset. It will assist you in cultivating a deeply interconnected experience of mind, body and heart. You will receive evidenced-informed practices  that will help you address mind-body wellness in an integrated, holistic way.  

The day is divided into two. All morning sessions focus on wellness through body-based practices, whilst the afternoon sessions focus on supporting the mind. This retreat is suitable for all levels of yoga and meditation experience, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners . 

What you will learn
